Pragmatic Play has added another chapter to its Sweet Bonanza series with Sweet Bonanza 2500. It is the fifth major version since the original game arrived in 2019. The setting is the same: candies and lollipops fill the reels. The change is in the multipliers, which are pushed well beyond earlier levels.

Grid and wins

The game uses a 6×5 grid and has no standard paylines. A win is paid whenever a group of 8 or more matching symbols appears. The winning symbols then disappear and new ones tumble down to fill the gaps, so several wins can chain together within a single spin.

Free spins and candy bombs

Four or more lollipops trigger the bonus round, which starts with 10 free spins. This is where the candy bombs come in. Each one carries a multiplier worth up to 2,500x.

The multipliers stay on screen while symbols tumble. When the sequence ends, they are added together and applied to the total win of that spin. That makes the bonus round the main route to large payouts.

The round can also be extended. If three or more lollipops land during the free spins, five more spins are awarded, and this can happen more than once.
