After Night Falls 2: Betsoft's Heist Sequel Hits 12,000x

Betsoft Gaming has released After Night Falls 2, the follow-up to its earlier slot After Night Falls. It went live on April 9, 2026. Detective Rousseau is back on the trail, this time gathering clues to uncover your identity as the mastermind behind a daring heist. The job is to stay in the shadows while chasing gold and jewels.

Specs and numbers

The game runs on a 5-reel, 3-row grid with 25 paylines. Betsoft lists the RTP at 96.06% and the volatility as very high. The hit rate is 23.67%. Top prize is 12,000x the maximum bet.

Wild substitutes for every symbol except BONUS, BOOST and SCATTER. Each reel also carries Stacked Mystery Symbol positions. Before the spin starts, those positions are replaced by one random symbol, and every mystery position takes the same one.

Hold & Win and the other features

Hold & Win is the main feature, and it can start in several ways. Six or more BONUS symbols trigger it, as does a combination of 5 BONUS symbols and 1 BOOST symbol. You get 3 respins. The BOOST symbol raises the values of the BONUS symbols on the reels. During the round, a Mystery Bonus symbol can land and turn into a random prize: MINI, MINOR, MAJOR, MEGA or BOOST.

Heist Rush works in the base game and in Free Spins. Any BONUS symbol that lands gives a chance of winning a Hold & Win round, so the feature can start without a full set of bonus symbols.

Free Spins come from 3 SCATTER symbols, which award 8 spins. Only high-paying symbols appear on the reels during that mode.
